Breast cancer continues to be the most prevalent cancer amongst females, contributing to 50% of all critical illness claims. Performing mammograms to detect breast cancer helps saves lives – the earlier the detection, the higher the survival rate (82% survival rates if detected at Stage 1 vs. 13% for Stage 4).

Etiqa has partnered with National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) since 2017 to provide underpriviledged Malaysian women with access to free mammograms.

To date, this programme has benefitted 29,000 women across Peninsular Malaysia.
