Etiqa helped Sungai Buloh Hospital in solving their insufficiency of Oxygen Flow Meters to cater for the increasing number of patients admitted every day. Since the hospital is expanding their COVID-19 wards, the oxygen flow meters are an essential equipment.

Contribution Of LVD Syringes To The Ministry Of Health

To support the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme, Etiqa contributed RM891,000 for the purchase of 2.7 million LVD syringes needed for the COVID-19 vaccine injection. The first phase of the programme is crucial as it involves vaccinating frontline staff made up of medical and non-medical personnel, who are at the forefront of fighting the pandemic.

Contribution To MERCY Malaysia

Etiqa contributed RM1 million for the purchase of ventilators, through Mercy Malaysia, to ease the impending shortage faced by designated hospitals tasked with responding to COVID-19 cases around the country. An additional RM1 million was also contributed directly to Mercy Malaysia’s Pandemic Fund to support the strategic preparedness and response plan to the virus.
