During the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak, Malaysia experienced an insufficiency of medical equipment. As a reponse, Etiqa contributed RM10 million to the Ministry of Health to purchase COVID-19 test kits to enable hospitals to carry out more diagnostic testings. Diagnostic testings are crucial in identifying infected patients who can then be treated or isolated.
